Meow the 43rd – Mog the TV Star

Media Cat

In advertising cats sell and children sell. What happens then when cats and children are put together for a campaign? Well, the outcome is an ad campaign.

And it is all for a good cause.  Mog, a well-known children’s book character in the UK, teams up with the charity Save the Children to raise funds for children in Sainsbury’s Christmas ad campaign 2015 with the title “Mog’s Christmas Calamity”.

Not only is Mog the main character in the 3.5 minute TV advert, but also stars in the new book “Mog’s Christmas Calamity” by Judith Kerr. Fluffy Mog is also available as a soft toy. The proceeds of the sales go the charity to improve child literacy across the UK.

Mog, the book star, is turning into a TV star. The TV ad first aired on 12 November 2015 simultaneously on various channels in the UK.
