Meow the 25th – Street Cat Business

Streetcat Bob is a phenomenon not only on the internet but also in real life. And being a cat – and thus being cat content personified – he has had an impact on many things including the media. Now Bob has a whole edition of the Big Issue magazine dedicated to him. According to Big Issue, orders for the magazine have come in from all over the world.

Why Streetcat Bob has been selected for the collector’s edition can easily be explained with the news values: continuity, cultural proximity, unexpectedness, personalisation, reference to elite persons, conflict, and unambiguity.
